Q. What does the computer reservation system do?
A. Allows customers and staff of the Sacramento Public Library to reserve time on Computer's which are located in 27 different Library locations.
Q. How much time can I reserve on the Computers?
A. One hour of access per day. This limit allows availablity of this resource for more Sacramento Public Library customers.
Q. Do I need a library card to use the reservation system?
A. Yes. If you do not have a library card, you can get an ecard from library staff.
Q. Can I request a specific computer? A. No. You specify which workstation type and an available computer is assigned to you.
Tips
- Computer reservations can be made up to seven days in advance.
- If a computer is not in use, it can used without a reservation.
- The computer automatically logs off when the reserved time expires.
- A reserved computer may only used only by library card or ecard holder.
Misc. Information
- Enter your library card or ecard number with no spaces.
- Select from one of the 27 libraries for your computer reservation.
- Search for an available computer by type.
- Remember to log off and close all windows after creating a computer reservation.
- Print your reservation reciept; it will help to find your reserved computer.
